Halloween 2005 is fast approaching and it will soon be time to buy a costume for your little one, or perhaps for yourself. So the question is, what will be the most popular costumes for 2005?

A good place to start would be to look at the most popular costumes for last year. According to a survey by the National Retail Federation (NRF), Spiderman, SpongeBob, Batman, Yu Gi Oh, Harry Potter
and Pirates were among the top 20 costumes for kids, with Spiderman being the number one choice. As you can see from that list, whats popular in the movies and on television plays a big role in which costumes will be the "must haves" for the year.
